Generation Healthcare started with a simple frustration: too many families were navigating home health and hospice care through faceless, corporate systems that treated them like a case number instead of a family in crisis.
We built something different.
Our Story
Founder Karen Keller saw this problem up close. Before starting Generation Healthcare, Karen ran a nursing home — and in that role, she worked alongside the outside home health and hospice companies her residents relied on. What she saw troubled her. The quality of care simply wasn't good enough. Not good enough for her residents, and not good enough for her own mother, had she needed it.
So in 2008, Karen started Generation Hospice. In 2013, she expanded to launch Generation Home Health. Both were built on the same standard: care good enough for her own family, extended to every family in our community.
That standard hasn't changed since.
