Generation Hospice
Generation Hospice provides quality, supportive care to people facing a life-limiting illness or injury. Our focus is on comfort and quality of life rather than a cure so patients can live each day to its fullest.
Using a multidisciplinary team approach, including the services of expert medical professionals, social workers and clergy, we provide support for patients' emotional, social and spiritual needs as well as medical symptoms.
Care can be provided in the patients home, hospice centers, hospitals or long-term care facilities and goes beyond the patient for loved ones as well.

Generation Hospice was a Godsend to us. When the nursing home lockdown began last March, I knew it was going to be hard on our mother.
She was used to having one of us kids visit her every day. When we would go see her at the window to wave, she would wave back, then start to cry. I don't think she completely understood what was going on. It was heartbreaking. The first Friday evening in April, I had a strong (God-given, I'm sure) conviction come over me. I told my husband that we needed to bring Mom back home. I was afraid I may never get to hug or kiss my mom ever again. She was going to be turning 96 the next Monday. I wanted to bring her home on her birthday. I didn't know if it was going to be able to happen in such a short time, but I was praying and hoping. My husband and I got her room ready on the weekend. On her birthday Monday morning I called the nursing home. They said they weren't sure they would be able to get everything ready for her to be dismissed that day and asked me if I would like to get hospice involved. I said sure. I didn't know which one to pick so I started reading reviews. I found Generation Hospice had some 5 star reviews so that's who I went with. Was I glad I did! The nurse called me that same morning and said "We are going to make this happen today!" I was so grateful and relieved! She was wonderful. We were able to meet with her and sign papers to discharge Mom from the nursing home and later that afternoon, they sent a transit bus to bring her home! It was so good to have her back home and Mom was very happy. Hospice sent aides to come help with Mom and of course a nurse to check on her often. Sadly, Mom developed aspiration pneumonia and passed away on June 5th. Generation Hospice was there to help me every step of the way from checking on Mom, coming at any hour, picking up prescriptions, you name it, they were there. God had his special earthly angels here to help me by the name of the wonderful people at Generation Hospice ❤️
